2013 Western Trip

It seems as though when it comes to road trips, Babs and I are always heading west. On May 30th we will once again load up the Acadia and head out toward Ft. Collins, CO where we’ll meet up with Bab’s cousin Denny and his wife Jane who are driving up from Florida.

From there, the four of us will continue west visiting Olympic National Park, Mt. Rainer, Seattle, The Grand Coli Dam, Glacier National Park, and Yellowstone National Park to name a few.

After dropping Denny and Jane back at Denny’s brothers home in Ft. Collins, Babs and I will continue on our own, arriving home in time for a friend’s daughters wedding.

We have already amended our route once because of the collapse of the I-5 bridge in Washington state. Hopefully road, traffic, and weather conditions will remain conducive to safe travel.

This could be our last long road trip. Babs is getting a three year old cat that needs a good home.

Thanks for reading!
